This article was aimed to explain the implementation of Tourism Department's strategy in developing halal tourist destinations West Lombok Regency and analyze factors that influence implementation. The government has drawn up a strategic plan address complexity problems arise tourism. research used qualitative method. Data were collected through documentation, observation, interview techniques. results showed been carried out form activities programs. tourism destination characterized as supported by regulatory clarity, Islamic Culture Community Regency, which is also attached natural conditions are very supportive support enthusiastic awareness group (POKDARWIS). However, there still obstacles, including lack clear concept marketing or promotion tourism, well inadequate halal-certified facilities. So recommendation needs be conveyed Government office Nusa Tenggara need translate program into various more detail must involve stakeholders help standardize certify.Keywords: Development Strategy, Halal Tourism, Implementation.
